CorpCARE

Business continuity support through emergency childcare infrastructure

In South Africa, particularly within higher SEM groups, professionals are having children later in their careers. Households are predominantly dual-income, with both men and women holding high-responsibility roles while, sharing family responsibilities.

Despite these structural familial shifts — impacting middle to senior management and C-suite levels — many organisations continue to operate under the assumption that childcare, particularly in emergencies, is handled elsewhere. In practice, this responsibility is often shared across both parents, including men in senior roles — whose absence, while operationally significant, is not being formally recognised or measured within organisations.

As demonstrated in a recent study (click here to download a summary) this gap — combined with the absence of structured childcare support — is impacting continuity, decision-making, and revenue at the highest levels of business, costing larger companies hundreds of thousands, if not millions per annum, as C-suite and management teams step away from work to manage unplanned childcare needs.

Available in Cape Town and Gauteng, SitSnapp provides trusted, pre-vetted childcare professionals at short notice — enabling your employees to remain present and productive, while maintaining business continuity.

How CorpCARE Works

How CorpCARE Works

Step 1: Assessment

Assessment

The first step is to understand where childcare-related disruption is impacting your organisation — and how best to address it structurally. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, CorpCARE begins with a structured assessment across five key areas:

Workforce Profile (Who)
Understanding the composition of your workforce, including the proportion of employees with childcare responsibilities and the level at which disruption impacts performance.

Work Structure (When)
Identifying when disruption is most likely to occur — whether during standard hours, peak operational periods, travel requirements, or irregular schedules.

Geographic Distribution (Where)
Mapping where your employees are based to determine the most effective and responsive service model — whether centralised, decentralised, or hybrid.

Disruption Patterns (How)
Assessing how childcare challenges currently present within your organisation — including unplanned leave, reduced availability, or early departures.

Organisational Priorities (Why)
Aligning the solution with what matters most to your business — whether that is productivity, continuity, employee wellbeing, or retention.

Outcome
This structured assessment provides a clear view of where disruption exists within your organisation, and identifies the most effective childcare support model — whether emergency response, on-site, or hybrid.

Step 2: Design

Design

Following the initial assessment, and where organisations choose to proceed, we move into a more detailed design phase — refining insights and, where required, conducting deeper analysis to ensure the most effective solution is developed.

This is where high-level understanding is translated into a practical, fully scoped childcare support model aligned to your organisation’s structure, workforce distribution, and operational priorities.

Your CorpCARE model may include:

Emergency Response Coverage
A rapid-response childcare network positioned close to your employees, ensuring immediate support when unexpected disruptions arise.

On-Site Childcare Solutions
Structured, professionally managed childcare environments at your offices or key locations — ideal for centralised teams or high-demand environments.

Holiday & Peak Period Support
Additional childcare capacity during school holidays or high-pressure business periods, where disruption risk increases.

Hybrid Models
A combination of the above, designed to provide continuous coverage across multiple scenarios and employee needs.

Each solution is designed with clearly defined:

  • service scope
  • response times (SLAs)
  • coverage areas
  • and scalability requirements

Ensuring seamless integration into your organisation with minimal operational friction.

For larger or more complex organisations, this phase may include a more detailed diagnostic and implementation planning process to ensure accuracy, scalability, and long-term effectiveness.

Step 3: Deployment

Deployment

Once your CorpCARE model is defined, we move into structured implementation — ensuring your solution is operational, responsive, and ready when needed.

This phase focuses on building the infrastructure required to deliver seamless, real-time support.

Sitter Network Alignment

We establish a dedicated pool of trusted, pre-vetted childcare professionals aligned to your employees’ geographic locations, ensuring proximity and rapid response capability.

Coverage Mapping

Employee distribution is mapped against sitter availability to ensure consistent coverage across key areas, minimising response times and maximising reliability.

System Setup & Access

We implement clear and simple access channels for your team — including dedicated contact points and streamlined request processes for immediate support when required.

Service Protocols & SLAs

Defined response times, escalation procedures, and service standards are established to ensure consistency, accountability, and peace of mind.

Internal Rollout

We support internal communication and onboarding, ensuring your employees understand how to access and utilise the service effectively.

At the end of this phase, CorpCARE is fully operational — positioned as a reliable extension of your organisation’s support infrastructure.

Step 4: Ongoing Support

Ongoing Support

The first step is to understand where childcare-related disruption is impacting your organisation — and how best to address it structurally. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, CorpCARE begins with a structured assessment across five key areas:

Assessing how childcare challenges currently present within your organisation — including unplanned leave, reduced availability, or early departures.

Organisational Priorities (Why)
Aligning the solution with what matters most to your business — whether that is productivity, continuity, employee wellbeing, or retention.

Outcome
This structured assessment provides a clear view of where disruption exists within your organisation, and identifies the most effective childcare support model — whether emergency response, on-site, or hybrid.

Our Team

TEAM

SitSnapp offers access to over 3000 pre-vetted childcare and teaching professionals who have a tertiary education level, experience, their own vehicles and first aid in across Cape Town and Gauteng. We continually recruit in order to provide this service as someone available today, may not be next week. We’re committed to supporting teaching and childcare professionals between positions or seeking occasional extra work — dedicated, internationally qualified individuals whose passion for children shines through their studies, experience, and proven record of service excellence.

For the provision of Emergency Response Coverage, where a support team rather than a dedicated standby team (determined by assessed needs) is selected, candidates are continually recruited in order to insure swift response as candidates available on week days are generally between roles and thus available.

Booking Notice

NOTICE REQUIRED

If the model of cover includes Emergency Response Coverage, service can be delivered with as little as an hour or two’s notice once your covered employees initial support teams or dedicated standby teams are established.

Rates

For most organisations, the cost of unplanned executive absence far exceeds the cost of implementing structured childcare support.

As each organisation differs in workforce structure, geographic distribution, and operational demands, CorpCARE is designed as a tailored workforce support solution, not a standardised service offering which is customised following an initial assessment.

How CorpCARE is Structured

Most CorpCARE implementations are built using a combination of:

  • Monthly Retainer
Ensures ongoing coverage, system readiness, and access to a pre-vetted childcare network aligned to your workforce.
  • Usage-Based Support
Applied when childcare professionals are deployed, allowing for flexible, as-needed utilisation.
  • Scalable Coverage Models
Adjusted based on workforce size, location, and demand patterns — whether centralised, distributed, or hybrid.

Each recommendation is supported by a clear service structure, defined response times, and aligned coverage to ensure operational reliability.
