PlayZone Service
PlayZone Services
Through this service you can request high quality, customised, long term playzone installations at your premises; temporary play zones, for example during school holidays; and either long term placement (client managed),or recruitment based (agency managed) educators and carers to man your playzones and design your play praogrammes, or; adhoc backup carers to top-up your current onsite children’s playzone at your busiest times.

Without a specialised license up to 6 children may be hosted without compliance to the act’s requirements. If hosting more than 6 children however, without a specialised license (provided only to schools) any event host, hosting more than 6 children at their events, is subject to the provisions of the act.

For events requiring partial supervision (ShareCARE), engaging the children in available activities and monitoring only (with parents present and childminders fulfilling a supervisory role only), while the required minimum is 1 to 20, our experience has taught to provide sharecare service at the following rate;
- 1 Childminder: up to 15 children, 7 years old or older

Else;
where the number of children expected is unknown, we will cater on an activity station basis, a minimum of 2 staff is advised for smaller entertainment equipment, 3 for larger.
As stipulated in the Act and in SoleCARE zones especially;
(a) Children must be separated into the following age categories in separate rooms or physically separated sections or places:
- Children under the age of 18 months;
- Children between the ages of 18 and 36 months;

Our experience has taught us that this is a safety concern and the activities provided differ in each zone based on developmental capacity.
(b) Where a partial care facility provides after care facilities to children of school going age, these children must be kept separate from the children in the above mentioned age groups.
