- Plus: Designed for families looking for added variety, creativity, and play value. The Plus tier includes everything in the Basic tier — with additional items, some upgraded materials and PlayPAX projects.
- Premium: Our luxury-tier PlayBOX for families who value craftsmanship, quality, and a beautifully curated play environment. Premium boxes feature branded wooden, hand-crafted toys and high quality project and modelling kits from exceptional makers. Each box also includes a wider variety of high quality creative and/or sensory projects (age dependent), educational materials, and refined gross motor equipment. Older children enjoy advanced STEM and construction challenges, strategy games, and immersive themed experiences.

Booking Notice
NOTICE REQUIRED
PlayBOXes are locally packed and often consist of many items per activity provided which can sometimes require sourcing before packing.
- Booking PlayBOX for up to 3 children in Cape Town: 5 working days notice
- Booking PlayBOX for 4 – 10 children: 10 to 15 working days notice
- Booking PlayBOX for more than 11+ children: 4 to 6 weeks notice is recommended
Pricing
PLAYBOX PRICING
Each PlayBOX is curated per age group (0–6m, 7–12m, 11–18m, 19–36m, 4–6y, 7y+) and includes creative, cognitive, and gross motor play equipment. All items are professionally cleaned and safety-checked before delivery. Please note if you will be staying for extended periods the items are not going to arrive in 1 box, but several.
For bookings over 14 days, PlayBOX rotations are available.
DEPOSIT, DELIVERY, COLLECTION & CLEANING
- Delivery within 20km of listed CBDs is from R 200 per trip (delivery, rotations and returns) depending on the number of children being entertained, and will always be confirmed on quotation.
- Depending on tier and / or rental equipment ordered, a refundable R3,500–R10,000+ breakage and loss security deposit applies which is held on your preferred credit card and will be returned within 2 working days of return and equipment check.
- Cleaning and safety checks included after return.

- All fees for PlayBoxes, Hiring Items and their delivery fees are due to proceed with booking the request.
- The damage and loss deposit due for PlayBox and Hiring Items service is due to proceed with the booking (Credit Card Only).

Credit Card Payments attract a 5% Processing Fee.
Cancellations
PLAYBOX CANCELLATIONS
- PlayBOX bookings may be partially refundable at the agency’s discretion, depending on the reason for cancellation.
- The PlayPAX component included in any PlayBOX is non-refundable, as these items are prepared to order.
- If a PlayBOX booking is cancelled with more than 48 hours notice prior to booking commencement up to 75% of the hire items component of the Hire may be refundable at the agency’s sole discretion, based on the reason for cancellation.
- If a PlayBOX booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date, or after the hire period has commenced, no refund will be issued.
- If cancelled after commencement, the contracted fees for and up to the next two working days of the hire period are non-refundable, while up to 75% of the remaining hire period fees for the equipment hire portion of the order may be refunded at the agency’s sole discretion, based on the reason for cancellation and the condition of return of any items already prepared or dispatched.
- All approved refunds will be processed within 3–15 working days.
