VETTING AND SCREENING

All of our Child Care Professionals are:

• Fully Vetted
• Police Clearance Checked
• ID and Drivers License Checked

• Have their own vehicles and valid Drivers Licenses

The ratio of children to carer, and the requirements for the carer are determined by the number and ages of children requiring care. For tours and chaperoned outings, to insure personalised care, supervision, safety and engagement throughout a trip, the following ratios apply:

• 1 chaperone: max 3 children (if children 7 years old or under will be present)
• 1 chaperone: max 5 children (if only children 7 years old or older will be present)

TOUR RATES

• Half Day Tours: R 250 – R 5000 per child (activity dependent)
• Full Day Tours: R 550 – R 7000 per child (activity dependent)
• Service Fees: R 500 + 10% of booked activities

*rates provided exclude sitter/chaperone rate.

TOUR CHAPERONES

---

The service fee covers the tour chaperones service fees.

• Rates are charged per hour
• Minimum booking is 4 hours or the equivalent rate

The following rates apply:

TRAVEL | OTHER

Getting to the Tour | Pick Up Address: R 9 p/km (charged to and from) for every km over 20km away from the following CBD’s ;

• Cape Town (CBD)
• Constantia
• Durbanville
• Stellenbosch
• Tableview

Tour from the Pick Up Address to the Return Address:

• Add R 9 p/km from pick up point to return or drop off point.

Valet|Parking Valet/parking costs are paid by the client to the child carer or where guest bookings is required to add this to be deducted from the clients account.

CHAPERONE BOOKING FEE

The booking fee is the agencies service fee and ranges from R 450 (ZAR) per chaperone booked;

• Rates depend on service requirements / notice.
• Once processed the Booking Fee is not refundable and is due whether the booking is completed or cancelled, as it covers our sourcing related costs which is a process initiated immediately on receipt of proof of payment

SURCHARGES

• A R 150.00 (ZAR) surcharge is charged for same day requests, and requests made after 4:00 P.M. NB: The evening before a booking day (Please note Saturday/Sunday bookings are viewed as a ‘booking day’ in this case), and for bookings made on a public holiday or for bookings which will run after 6pm the night before a public holiday.

• Double rates apply on public holidays and from 6pm on the evening prior.

Final Price will be quoted all inclusive and discounts may apply dependent on the booking requirements.

For Tour Bookings we accept bookings to be worked anytime, however, the following notice periods are required at a minimum;

• if based within a 20km radius of our service centres a minimum of 1 working days* notice is required.
• if based more than a 20km radius of our service centres a minimum of 2 working days* notice is required.

*Booking 3 working days in advance is recommended to secure bookings during peak season (Sept – Feb).

TIMING

• All Tours are paid in advance.
• Full fees are due to proceed with the service.

OVERTIME | LOGISTICS

• Any overtime, extra hours, or child-related expenses incurred during outings or activities are billed in arrears  by latest the next working day for immediate payment.
• Tips may be paid on completion of the booking in cash or you can request this to be added to your bill or a paylink for easy payment.

PAYMENT METHODS

GuestCARE CLUB Members

• Guests of GuestCARE Members (Registered hotels, concierge etc) may, beyond making bookings on behalf of guests, also make payment on behalf of their guests saving guests the 5% fee paid for credit card payments if processed by EFT.
• SitSnapp can alternatively send your guest a link directly for processing of payment for the requested booking via credit card.
• Local South African Guests may process payment via EFT or credit card.

Private Travelling Families

• Directly contracting Local and International guests are welcome to pay via Credit Card.
• Else, if you are a South African family, or have South African friends or family happy to make payment on your behalf, payment may be made by any South African account holder directly via EFT to our account.

Notes

• Credit Card Payments attract a 5% Processing Fee.
