BOOKING NOTICE

Once your CoreCARE request is registered with SitSnapp, most families are matched with their Primary Sitter(s) within a few days. In some cases especially for CoreCARE Premium clients, depending on your area and specific care requirements, matching may take up to 30 days to secure your full team of three dedicated long term sitters.

In the interim our team will assist with on-demand bookings until your long-term sitter(s) are confirmed.

*While we accept bookings to be worked anytime, the following notice periods are required at a minimum;

• if based within a 20km radius of our service centres request childcare for same-day bookings with as little as 3 hours notice*, from Monday to Friday, else;

• if based more than 20km from our service centres; a minimum of 1 working days* notice is required.

• Booking 3 working days in advance is recommended to secure bookings during peak season (Sept – Feb).

ADDITIONAL BOOKINGS

• The booking fee is the agencies service fee and is paid per booking per candidate booked.

• Once the request is processed, the Booking Fee is not refundable and is due whether the booking is completed or cancelled, as it covers SitSnapp sourcing related costs.

• After-Hours Bookings: For bookings starting after 18h00, Monday to Friday & Weekends: R 350 per sitter per booking

• Weekdays: For bookings which include service during normal working hours 07h00 – 18h00, Monday to Friday): R 450 per sitter per booking

SURCHARGES

• Any booking made with less than 2 working days notice attracts a R150 service fee

*Booking notice made after 4 pm on a particular day, counts as notice made the following day.

CLUB SITTERS

---

While rates with your direct core Sitter Support Team are negotiable as they are deemed long term opportunities and placements; the Sitter fee for Club bookings however, are not, though they are reduced for club members when compared to international and once off service users.  Club members will receive 15% off the following fees apply: 

• Rates are charged per hour (from 15 minutes into the next hour) – half hour rates do not apply.
• Minimum booking is 4 hours or the equivalent rate.
• Double rates apply on public holidays and from 6pm on the evening prior to a public holiday.

Chaperone Services

• Add R 9 p/km from pick up point to return or drop off point.

Valet|Parking

Valet/parking costs are paid by the client to the child carer or where guest bookings is required to add this to be deducted from the clients account.

The ratio of children to carer, and the requirements for the carer are determined by the number and ages of children requiring care. The minimum requirements of child carers to care for;

• Up to 2 children over 6 years old;
